Subject: re-buffering
I had the same problme in 0.4.1 and thought 0.5.0 might change it, but alas no.

After 15 seconds or so of play it will rebuffer.

Here is my log file with the errors:

I also tried using samba share, but that had the same problem when it worked.

My specs are:

Master Backend:

Gigabyte GA-G33-DS3R
Intel Q6600
4Gb Memory
Ubuntu 7.04 64bit
1Gb network onboard
(full spec here : http://scorpuk.plus.com/phpsysinfo)

Windows computer:
ASUS Striker Extreme m/b
Intel E6850
2Gb Memory
Windows Vista Premium 32bit
EVGA Geforce 8800XT
Creative X-Fi
1Gb network onboard

1Gb Switch
Cat 6 cable

Tried it in VLC and it works far better. Although I did have to pause it for 5 mins so it could buffer up.

I dont think it is streaming for either and actually trying to play the file from its location (I presume that was what vlc was doing as i went for open file rather that stream as i couldnt work out the stream options :) )

BUT if I pause mythtv player for 5 mins it still rebuffers. :(

Any help appreciated
