Subject: MythPlayer in French?
I was looking quickly at your source code and I'd be willing to translate MythPlayer in french. When 0.5 comes out in it's final stage, let me know if you're interested.

I think we need localization support for this project. Please join the sourceforge project team to help out with this. Despite I am not in there yet, I think if some people get together this can get again a very agile project

Let's pick this up!

My suggestions would be to introduce GNU gettext into the Mythtv Player so that helpful guys like Dom can help us with translations without having to dig into the code.

Has anybody experience with GNU gettext under Windows?
Dom, are you still around to help us with a french translation?

I prepared a Version which will use your Windows language settings to switch the Language of Mythtv player (I am not 100% happy with having Windows pick the language for me ;-).

Anyway ... I uploaded a installer including a german translation file to be found here: http://www.freedrive.com/file/917035

What we need next are translations to other languages!
Everybody willing please take the attached file and fill it with your native language.
When you are done either compile it with the GNU gettext tools "msgfmt" or send it to me.
