Player jumps to screen 1 in multi-display desktops.
When using 2 or more screens, MythTVPlayer will revert to the first one when maximizing or playing recordings.

Subject: Player jumps to screen 1 in multi-display desktops.
This is more of an annoyance than anything and I wondered if anyone else had seen it.  I run a multi-display desktop...3 to be exact.  When I start MythTVPlayer, it always starts on the 1st screen.  I'll move the display window to another monitor and when I press play to watch a recording or live TV it moves back to the first monitor.  So, I'll drag it back and resize it, but when I play a new show, it resizes again and jumps to the first screen.

Also, If I try to maximize it on the third screen (which has a slightly different resoution), it will jump back to the first screen, but maximized.

I'm currently running MythTV Player 0.5.0 on an AMD, using 2 ATI Radeon HD4670 on Windows 7, although I've seen the same issue with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and my single ATI Radeon X1950 Pro.

Hi,

I think it is similar to my resize bug (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=28363…), but I am not sure. If you like, you can have a trunk build for testing. Maybe Lomion can comment on this, did you close my bug for trunk or for 0.6?

Hi,

please try a trunk build. I fixed the "maximize bug" on trunk.

I just tried 0.6.0 RC2.  It operates the same.  If I maximize the window on monitor 3, the upper-left of the window moves to the upper-right of screen 1, but maximized for the resolution of monitor 3.

I will try downloading the trunk from SVN tonight and try it.

Subject: Works great
Sorry it took me so long, I had trouble compiling the version, but then found version 0.7.0-r236 on the download site.  The new version fixes the issues I was seeing.  Thanks for fixing that.
