Subject: rendering priority option
I've found Mythplayer rendering pretty jerky (both audio and video).  I have an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ CPU and it only uses 10-15% of my CPU, so that's not the factor.  However, I changed the priority of the process in Windows to High and now it's showing with hardly any jitter.  Would you be able to add an option to change the priority of the process permanently?

Otherwise your work on the program has been great.  Over the last few revisions you've made some good progress.  This is just a suggestion.

Thanks,

Duey

It should run more than smoothly on your cpu. Unfortunately there seem to be some problems with jerky playback.. probably because of the multithreaded design I have chosen and that I am using threads from the SDL library where I can not choose the priority.
After the release of 0.3.5 (which will be soon), I will change to pthreads instead such that the priority can be changed.
Of course it should run smoothly on your cpu.

(I will probably mail a test-version at some point in the future.)

cheers,

\Mikkel
