Subject: Feature request - variable playback speed

First, let me add my thanks to everyone else's. Your player is very helpful to me.
I would like to be able to play my recordings at multiples of their recorded speed. The human ear can work a lot faster than the human mouth! I often watch videos at 1.5 to 2 times their recorded speed. I find no loss in comprehension. In fact, I took many college courses online and sped nearly all of them.
I know this isn't a high priority, but if it's not to hard to implement and doesn't take you off your schedule, I'd appreciate if you would consider it.

But it should be possible to implement and it would be a nice feature when you want to "fast-run" through certain parts of a recordings. The "problem" is that the audio must be resampled on-the-fly. But that surely is possible.
