Hi Mikkel.

Thanks for a great piece of software.
I wonder if the code will be open source in the future, just like mythtv?

Will it even require payment ?

It is released under GPL, so there is no way to "withdraw" the code that is already there ;)
I could stop developing new features and put that into a commercial version, but I have absolutely no plans of this. Donations are of course welcome;)

Hi Mikkel,
I am using it on three PC's for the children and if they are comfortable with it did not want to have to start paying  :-)
I am also interested in customising or adding bits, where can I get the source ?

Ahh, I misunderstood your question. I thought you asked if it would stay open source. Seems like you asked if I would make it opensource ;).

Thanks for the quick reply.
There are other free to download PVR systems such as GBPVR but I suspect they may go to pay-to-use in the future.
It is nice to know that this is not one of those freebies.
I will be glad to donate if this becomes a perminent feature within the household.
